In a superficial chemical peel a solution is used to treat the superficial level of the skin. Different solutions can be used such as glycolic acid or TCA.
These solutions break the upper levels of the epidermis and stimulate the production of new and rejuvenated skin. After the peel there is mild redness lasting a few hours with superficial peeling starting from the 4th day.
All can be covered by make up and is nearly not visible. The peel can improve surface irregularities, pigment irregularities, melasma, acne and more. It gives the skin a brighter and healthier appearance.
